Tamarind flats – gut rehab construction & addition of multiple adus

Tamarind Flats is a thoughtfully reimagined multifamily development, located in the heart of Hollywood, just off the legendary Sunset Strip and less than a mile from the Walk of Fame. Originally a 17-unit residential building, the property was reconfigured to meet modern standards of design, safety, and livability. The project involved a complete interior gut renovation combined with the addition of four new ADUs, expanding both density and functionality. Extensive structural improvements were completed, including a full seismic retrofit, along with comprehensive upgrades to all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, bringing every unit to current code requirements.

The exterior scope of work included new concrete pathways and integrated seating areas, enhancing circulation and creating inviting communal spaces. The final project features a revitalized residential community that seamlessly blends contemporary infrastructure with a prime Hollywood location, delivering long-term value and modern urban living.
